World Fusion Group Mawwal launch site and plans for album

HARTFORD, CT. (PROTECT-O-MATIC MUSIC/ www.mawwalmusic.com) - Protectomatic Music is working with Hartford World Fusion Group 'Mawwal' to complete the recording, final production and marketing of their latest album scheduled for an early spring release. Together with Protectomatic, Mawwal is on schedule to completing this project by raising funds for the final costs to complete the recording as well as release the album debt free and with no obligations to anyone, redefining the term of an independent artist.

Mawwal performs original world fusion music and original arrangements of traditional Middle Eastern music in a spirited and beautiful trance-inducing acoustic/electric ensemble. Inventive vocal arrangements in English and Arabic weave through a Laouto (Greek Lute) and violin, augmented by traditional percussion (tabla, dumbek, frame drum, riq) in what has been called a "new genre" by Progression Magazine.

Mawwal, working with Protectomatic Music, www.protectomatic.com, the artist representation company, has developed a 5 month business plan to take Mawwal's next release from concept to distribution. Protectomatic's CEO Loren Weisman, explaining his firm's interest with Mawwal by saying 'Mawwal is an intense group, they represent sounds from all over the middle east as well as implementing modern sounds and styles.'
