New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country Star
Colt Ford hits the road today, June 2, on Brantley Gilberts 33-date Take It Outside summer ampitheatre tour along with countrys Justin Moore. The Take It Outside tour runs through October 15, 2016. Simultaneously, it was announced that Ford will be a celebrity brand ambassador for Affliction Clothing which has designed custom stage branding for Fords live show, signature apparel and artwork for his upcoming album.
Commenting on the tour, Ford said: When Brantley and I first started, we dreamed of being able to do this. It has been awesome to see his success, Ford said. I am excited to be a part of this tour, and also have another great friend in Justin Moore. There will not be a more rockin show than this one.
Also excited about the new visual stage branding for his live shows and his collaboration with Affliction Clothing, Ford commented: Im proud to join Afflictions team of brand ambassadors. Their passion, style and design are a perfect fit for me.
Affliction will be offering three signature tees, as well as providing artwork for Colt's new album, and stage branding, said Affliction Clothing owner, Eric Foss. We are very pleased
Colt Ford has embraced our brand and joined us as an ambassador. We like his unique style which makes a great addition to our roster of celebrity ambassadors who embrace the brands Live Fast lifestyle.
Both Georgia natives, Ford and Gilbert collaborated to co-write Jason Aldeans #1 mega-hit, Dirt Road Anthem, and Gilberts smash #1 Country Must Be Country Wide. When their paths cross on the road, they frequently take the stage together to perform these chart-toppers for the crowd.
Ford has been writing and recording new music for his next album due out later this year.
