NASHVILLE, TN. (Mca Nashville) - Country music star George Strait has started the new year with a bang. His 2005 tour starts tomorrow in Charlotte, NC and it's a complete sell-out.
He's also sold out dates in Lafayette, LA; Richmond, VA; Lubbock, TX and Austin, TX and tickets are going fast for the remaining shows.
Capitol recording artists Dierks Bentley and Amber Dotson are opening all the dates on the tour.

In addition, Strait's celebrating 5 million in sales of his highly lauded 50 Number Ones collection which contains all 50 of his record-breaking career No 1's and his 51st, 'I Hate Everything.' He was the highest certified country artist of the year in 2004 and second only to Usher in all genres.
