NEW YORK (Rainmaker Publicity/ www.emanonrecords.com) - Emanon Records has acquired joint ownership of the television program 'Live from the Riverwalk Crossing,' a half-hour musical showcase that will run weekly for twenty-four weeks, beginning in June. The show is currently slated to air in Tulsa and Virginia Beach, though expansion into virtually all United States markets is anticipated.

The show will consist of edited performances by members of the Emanon Records roster and other national recording artists. Roots rockers Cardinal Trait, smooth jazz artist Glenda Rae, and VH1 2004 Singer-Songwriter of the Year Jenna Drey are already scheduled to appear, and numerous other acts are currently being considered. 'We want to bring great live music back to television,' says Emanon Records producer Michael Busch.
The show will be similar in format to PBS's 'Austin City Limits' and NPR's 'Mountain Stage,' but with a focus on smooth jazz and hot adult contemporary music formats.

'Live from Riverwalk Crossing' is a joint venture between Emanon Records and AB Productions/Blue House Media, which will be handling production duties for the program. The company has previously done television work for clients such as ESPN, the NBA, Jeep, and Bose Sound.

As for the show's setting, Riverwalk Crossing is a new $40 million development that features a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as an amphitheater. It is set on the west bank of the Arkansas River in the Tulsa suburb of Jenks. The amphitheater seats 1,000 people in permanent seats, and with the addition of temporary seating can be expanded to fit 2,000.
'Everyone will have excellent seats for great shows with a river for a backdrop,' says the show's co-producer Joel Wade. 'It's a great setting.'
