Mercury's Julie Roberts becomes all-around Golden Girl

NASHVILLE, TN. (Mercury Nashville Records) - Mercury recording artist Julie Roberts has struck more than gold with her newest honors. Her self-titled debut album has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
"I have had the most extraordinary year of my life," said Roberts when told of the news while on the road. "I am so grateful to the folks at Mercury Records and to everyone who has helped me to achieve this milestone."

The critically acclaimed Roberts has made a name for herself with singles "Break Down Here" and "The Chance." Roberts' popularity among the critics has also landed her on almost every Top 10 list in the country (i.e. Rolling Stone, New York Times, Chicago Tribune), features in such top magazines as People, Vanity Fair, Glamour and Entertainment Weekly, and a 2004 Country Music Association Horizon Award nomination.
