LOS ANGELES (Doc Hollywood Kidz) Doc Hollywood Kidz' CEO Steven Saxton has announced
it has teamed with parent company DH1 Studios to release the soundtrack
to the highly anticipated feature film thriller, Hide and Seek on Doc
Hollywood Records. In a joint venture with Dallas based Kirtland
Records and featuring music composed by John Ottman (The Cable Guy,

and set to complete Superman Returns), with domestic soundtrack
distribution to be handled by SONY RED. Produced by John
Rodgers, a strategic partner of Doc Hollywood Kidz, distributed by
Twentieth Century FOX and opening wide on January 28th, Hide and Seek
is directed by John Polson and Written by Ari Schlossberg. The film
stars Academy Award Winner Robert DeNiro and Dakota Fanning and tells
the tale of a widower (Rober DeNiro) who tries to piece together his
life in the wake of his wife's suicide. Early on, his daughter (Dakota
Fanning) finds peace and tranquility in her imaginary friend. Everyone
has played the children's game, Hide and Seek. Those unmistakeble words
and game take us back to an innocent, carefree time when the simple
goal was to find hiding playmates. Many children could even enjoy a
spirited game with imaginary friends. But imaginary friends can seem so
real. For Emily Callaway (Dakota Fanning), her games of Hide and
Seek with an imaginary friend named Charlie have become anything but
simple. She finds herself in the middle of a series of unbelievable
acts that even her father can't believe. Who or what is this Charlie
and how can a child's imaginary "friend" have this kind of presence? Is
Charlie really imaginary? The All-star cast includes Robert De
Niro as David Callaway; Dakota Fanning as Emily Callaway; Famke Janssen
as Katherine; Elisabeth Shue as Elizabeth; Amy Irving as Alison
Callaway and Dylan Baker as Sheriff Hafferty.
