NASVILLE,
TN. (Coast Productions) - Nashville based Artist, Seay releases 1
Voice. In a town where country music and acoustic songwriting are the
norm, Nashvilles music scene is fostering new and exciting styles of
music. A startling and exciting new project and an unconventional break
from the standards of
Music Row, Seay, (pronounced say) a World/Pop
Singer,Composer, and Visual Artist, releases 1 Voice., an evocative
Vocal Ambient/World inspired project.
Currently in promotion to
300+ stations and syndicated programs world wide, 1 Voice, a 12 song
conceptual project fusing of music styles and spiritual traditions from
around the world blends Classical, Electronic, and Indigenous Music.
Set to elegant pianos, orchestration, rhythms and the evocative use of
her voice, 1 Voice is an extraordinarily beautiful project, weaving a
lush vocal tapestry, and a beautiful experience for the listener.

This
project, Seay says, is a multi-dimensional listening experience, and a
journey exploring the use of my voice and writing in an unconventional
way. Its also a departure from my Pop and Torch
Style of music The
Singer/Songwriter, has an extensive song catalogue and has sung and
worked on projects for
Annie Lennox amongst others. This music was
begun after the loss of 2 friends, one to a stroke, the other to cancer
and I felt a need to create something to enhance the listeners
experience. 1 Voice is the culmination of studying with renowned author
and musician of The Mozart Effect Don Campbell. My hope is that there
will be something for everyone and that it will be an uplifting
experience for the listener.
Most of the vocal work was done in Nashville right in the heart of
Music Row at Third
Coast
productions with Engineer Don Scott Hare (Reba McIntire, Shania Twain,
Joe Diffie). The final mixing in
Stereo and 5.1 was done in Burbank, CA
at Palette Studios with veteran Engineer/Producer Jeff
Silverman.(Prince,
Barbara Streisand, Rick Springfield,) The project
also hosts a wonderful quartet of musicians whose combined credits run
the gamut in Pop, Jazz and World music with Credits from
David Foster
to Dory Cayimi: LA veteran Bassist Jerry Watts, and Nashville
Guitarist/Engineer Jules Delgado, String Arranger Scott Hallgren and
Digeridooist Jonathan Smith.
