Aslyn's 'Be The Girl' Is Most Added Single At Mainstream Top 40

NEW YORK (Capitol Records) - "Be The Girl," the first single from Capitol recording artist Aslyn, was the most-added single at Mainstream Top 40 radio this week. This comes on the heels of similar success at the Hot AC format, where "Be The Girl" was the most-added song for two consecutive weeks. The accompanying video, directed by Phil Harder (Prince, Liz Phair, Barenaked Ladies, Incubus), is already in rotation at VH1.

The young singer-songwriter hasn't seen much of her Atlanta, GA home base lately - Aslyn has been touring non-stop since last summer when she opened for Chris Isaak. She's currently on the road with Ryan Cabrera and has just been asked to open for Marc Broussard this spring. (New Yorkers, take note: she'll be playing three nights at Irving Plaza between now and April 1st!)

Lemon Love, Aslyn's debut album, will be released on March 29th. It was produced by Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, Jewel) and Eric Valentine (SmashMouth, Third Eye Blind, Queens of the Stone Age).
