MIAMI, FL. (Boden PR/ wwww.bodenpr.com ) - Ana Cristina International:
- The powerful and crystalline voice that sang the Star Spangled Banner before George W. Bush at the Presidential Inauguration rocked to the pulsating beats of her new Latin Pop and Salsa Album titled 'Ana Cristina' at this year's Calle Ocho Festival

After being the first Hispanic in history to sing the national anthem at a Presidential Inauguration, Ana Cristina (Sony Discos) showed the world what she's really made of: as one of Calle Ocho Festival's headliner events, the 19-year old Cuban-American prodigy jammed before 1 million + spectators accompanied by a 12 member band including original members of The Miami Sound Machine and a host of 10 striking dancers. The crowd rocked to the beats of the Miami native's Latin pop and salsa rhythms as her powerful voice debuted songs from her recently debuted album 'Ana Cristina'.

"I have been coming to Calle Ocho since its first ever festival, since 1978. I've seen the very best perform- and Ana Cristina's powerful voice and diversity of music styles and overall show was one like I've never seen before," stated Candelaria Mendez, a 79 year old Calle Ocho veteran. "When I saw this beautiful Cuban-American strap on her guitar after already having sung a salsa piece, I couldn't have been more proud."

Ana Cristina, who just recently debuted her Spanish-language CD 'Ana Cristina' (Sony Discos) in the U.S., joined the ranks of some of the great Calle Ocho performers including Thalia, Gloria Estefan and Gilberto Santa Rosa. It has been little under a month that her hit single 'A Un Paso de Mi Amor' has begun to be heard on the radio waves and on TV shows around the U.S., and she already managed to secure a spot at the largest and most well known Hispanic street festival in the U.S.
