LOS ANGELES (Nacional Records) - Marrying pop, folkloric, trip-hop and Latin influences, Andrea Echeverri has stepped forward and captivated audiences with her potently melodic brand of feminism. Best known as the frontwoman for Grammy-nominated Colombian rock group Aterciopelados, Echeverri's new self-titled solo album features the singles "A eme O" and "Amortiguador".

Inspired by the recent birth of her daughter Milagros, Andrea Echeverri's album is receiving sweeping praise from the media, with Rolling Stone praising it as "an ode to the joy of motherhood... Echeverri's crystalline vocals soar whenever she describes her new sense of womanhood", while the Chicago Sun-Times calls the album a "masterpiece."

Andrea Echeverri's single "Amortiguador" also recently made history, becoming the most successful iTunes Discovery Download to date, performing 20% better than its nearest competitor. The album 'Andrea Echeverri' was recently released by Nacional Records, the new ADA/Warner-distributed label founded by artist manager Tomas Cookman.
