NASHVILLE, TN. (www.kassiedepaiva.com) - Daytime actress and country music artist Kassie DePaiva, also known as 'Blair Cramer' from One Life To Live, will fill in as co-host on the April 25th edition of The View. Depaiva's appearance as co-host will mark her third time on the show.

The View (ABC) regularly features moderator Meredith Vieira (Turning Point), prosecutor-turned-commentator Star Jones Reynolds, comedian Joy Behar and television personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck. The View consists of hot topics in the news, the best experts in their field, celebrity interviews and general entertainment. The program celebrated its 1500th show on January 23, 2004 and is currently in its eighth season.

DePaiva is thrilled about the opportunity to return to The View, 'It is very exciting to sit and chat with these remarkable women and be a part of a great show. It's fun and different from my work as Blair on One Life To Live. I appreciate The View asking me back to co-host.'

DePaiva, who is currently nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Lead Actress in a Daytime Television Series, started her career in 1986 playing Chelsea Reardon on CBS's Guiding Light. This year's Emmy ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS on Friday, May 20, from New York City's Radio City Music Hall from 9:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET).

In addition to her accomplishments as a daytime actress, DePaiva is currently promoting her second country music release entitled No Regrets. She can be seen performing selections from the album periodically on One Life To Live.
