 NEW
YORK (P.R.Y.D.E. PR) - P.R.Y.D. E. 's show at the famous CBGB's in NYC
on March 26th was a huge success. Not only did the band sound amazing
and were widely received by the crowd, but they were honored when a
special guest came down to the club to see them that night. Daryll
McDaniels from RUN DMC made a special appearance to check out
P.R.Y.D.E.'s live performance. After talking to the band
backstage before their set and taking several pictures with P.R.Y.D.E.,
Daryll McDaniels stood near the front of the stage and tapped his feet
in rhythm to the music. McDaniels left CBGB's shortly after P.R.Y.D.E.
finished their set and left the stage. Hailing from New
Jersey, this young dynamic band combines original music with issues
that face today's youth. P.R.Y.D.E. writes all their music/lyrics and
gives each song a unique Rock & Roll tweak. At first you might not
think that this is a huge accomplishment until you consider that the
average age of this band is 15. But don't let age fool you, this band
is a force to be reckoned with and can hold it's own in front of 1,000
people or in front of 10. A natural to the stage, P.R.Y.D. E. has won
several Battle of the Bands competitions, including a spot on the
Bamboozel Festival, where the average age of the musicians is around
20-25.
