RICHMONT, VA., Canada (Porn Kinks Official Website) - They've already shared the stage with the likes of Papa Roach, 3 Doors Down, Sum 41 and Unwritten Law, to name a few. Now, as their single "Alone" buzzes loudly at radio, Los Angeles-based THE PROM KINGS--four creative brothers, related not by blood but the sturdy bonds of harmony and rhythm--will release their self-titled debut this summer via Three Kings Records. The band has just wrapped a leg of tour dates and will perform at the massive Y101 Birthday Bash on May 22 in Richmond, VA.

Produced by Michael Carney and Andrew Duncan, the group's debut is a white-knuckle assemblage of scorched earth anthems, funk-inflected dance rockers, goth-metal epics and spiraling, orchestral ballads that reconcile hard rock and emo sensibilities. THE PROM KINGS--CHRIS CARNEY (vocals), JOEY HOLLEARN (guitar), MAURICIO BRANDAO (bass) and LUKE PICKERILL (drums)--traverse the musical map, offering hard rock fury ("Angels," "Fade," "Better Man"), party-hardy jams on ("Birthday"), and fearlessly passionate balladry ("The One") in equal measure. THE PROM KINGS also features guest vocals by hip-hop phenomenon The Game on "Down."

The band's all-or-nothing approach is summed up on the debut single, "Alone." With its hip-thrusting rhythms and explosive chorus, this scornful kiss-off to a former lover doubles as a rebuke to the handicapping naysayers who underestimated THE PROM KINGS. "Alone" is already receiving early adds and strong support from: WRIF-Detroit, WIIL-Chicago, KDGE-Dallas, KBPI-Denver, WEBN-Cincinnati, WEDG-Buffalo, WQBK-Albany, WIYY-Baltimore, WPBZ-West Palm Beach-Miami, WDYL-Richmond, KOMP-Las Vegas and KBER-Salt Lake City, to name a few.
