 NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Santa Claus came in July for kids at the Fiske Boys & Girls Club in Chicago. Atlantic Recording artist Bump J, partnered with the 'Single Parent Initiative,' and the Music Education Group 'Music Appreciation Series' on July 5th. 'It was the first day of Summer Camp for our youth. The kids really were excited to see an artist from Atlantic Records take time for them on their first day of summer activities at the club,' stated Latrice Smith, site Director at the Fiske Boys & Girls Club of Chicago. 'It was amazing to hear the articulate questions that the kids had for Bump J and myself,' stated Andrea Harley, from Atlantic Records. They did not just involve Bump J answering music question; he also went deep in his pockets, and gave every child in attendance $5.00 to place in their socks so they would not loose it. Bump J has also given the Single Parent Initiative a $1,000 donation to the charities cause of supplying memberships in his hometown. Bump J is truly an artist that wants to give back to his community. 'We are looking forward to partnering in more 'Music Appreciation Series' and the new 'Music Unwrapped Series' events with Bump J on a larger scale with the Boys and Girls Clubs, and YMCA's within the schools during the school year,' stated Curtis B.
