NEW YORK (Island Def Jam Music Group) - The Snowman Makes Network TV Debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live
- "Young Jeezy's official debut album, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, shows off his warm, raspy voice, his down-home charm and his no-nonsense approach to record-making... Jeezy's laid-back steez and deep rasp often prove irresistible... The album hammers home his persona as a world-weary ex-hustler who's got as much regular-guy appeal as he's got cash and horror stories... As far as the rap game goes, the South is rising again and again." - Rolling Stone

Winter has arrived early this year, as Young Jeezy - "The Snowman" - has stormed the album charts with his Def Jam debut Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. Officially released on July 26th on the heels of widespread bootlegging, Let's Get It sold 171,747 copies this week to become the top-selling artist release in the country, and debuts on the Billboard 200 album chart at No 2.

The video for "And Then What" reached the No 1 spot on BET's 106 & Park countdown, and has just been officially added into rotation at MTV. The album's second single, "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon, is close on its heels as it goes for adds this week with 500-plus spins already. A video for "Soul Survivor" is set to be shot in New York City next week.

Last night, Young Jeezy is made his network television debut tonight, as he performed his tracks "And Then What" and "Soul Survivor" on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
