NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Mick Jagger threw quite the bash in celebration of his new solo album, Goddess in the Doorway (due Nov. 20 on Virgin), Thursday (Nov. 15) night at the El Rey in Los Angeles.

The Rolling Stones frontman - dressed in tight black jeans, a red T-shirt with the Statue of Liberty on it, and a dark red leather jacket - played a seven-song set, including the first single from the album, "God Gave Me Everything" twice for taping purposes. The song was recorded for inclusion on the Being Mick documentary that will air on ABC on Nov. 22.

On hand to wish him well were a bevy of Hollywood types and musicians, including Nikka Costa, the Bangles' Susanna Hoffs, Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain, Shakira, Rob Thomas, Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath, Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Black Crowes' Chris Robinson and wife Kate Hudson, Carrie Fisher, David Spade, Laura Dern, Robert DeNiro, Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, Meg Ryan, Naomi Campbell, and others.

Manning the turntables for the event were Dan the Automator and Dave Hernandez.

Mick Jagger set list:

1. "God Gave Me Everything"
2. "Visions of Paradise"
3. "Lucky Day"
4. "Everybody Getting High"
5. "Predictable"
