 NEW YORK (AP) - Michael Jackson's 30th anniversary show attracted 45 million viewers when it was aired on US television last week. 'Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration', was filmed in New York in early September and featured performances from Destiny's Child, 'NSync, Whitney Houston and the Jackson 5 amongst others. Figures suggest that the CBS broadcast brought in an average of 25.7 million viewers, whilst 45 million tuned in for all or part of the special. CBS senior vice president, Jack Sussman, said of Michael Jackson: "He's still one of the greatest performers ever, and when he gets on stage and the music starts, it's magic". Jackon's nearest rival on the night was an hour-long episode of US sitcom, 'Frasier', which averaged 19.3 million viewers.
