NEW YORK (AP) - No Doubt, Destiny's Child, and Incubus are the newest acts confirmed to perform at the 2001 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live Dec. 4 on Fox from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
They join previously announced performers Alicia Keys, 'N Sync, Tim McGraw, and Shaggy. Other artists set to appear include Sting, Mandy Moore, Lee Ann Womack, R. Kelly, Ludacris, Lil' Romeo, Jennifer Lopez, P. Diddy, Godsmack, Joe, Creed, Lifehouse, Petey Pablo, Jamie O'Neal, Blink-182, and this year's Billboard Century Award winner, John Mellencamp.

In addition, Janet Jackson will be on hand to accept Billboard's 2001 award for artistic achievement. The artist's 2001 Virgin set "All for You" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 2.4 million copies to date in the U.S., according to SoundScan. The title cut earned her a 14th No. 1 hit on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and her 10th on The Billboard Hot 100.

R&B star Sisqo took home six trophies from last year's awards show, while Destiny's Child, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, and show co-hosts 'N Sync netted four each. Sisqo's six-pack included honors for male artist of the year and top new artist, as well as three R&B/hip-hop trophies. The awards are based on the Billboard year-end charts.
