Martina McBride: Thankful For Family

NASHVILLE (Top40 Charts) - Martina McBride has many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, not the least of which is her family--John, her husband of 13 years, and their two daughters, Delaney and Emma. Martina shared her holiday sentiments with Top40 Charts.
"I think the biggest thing to be thankful for is the health of my family, you know? We're all in good health and we've been blessed with that. We just have had an amazing couple of years and just to be able to share it all together is such a great blessing," she said.

The McBride family plans to spend this Thanksgiving together in their native Kansas. Martina will be helping prepare the big holiday dinner with all the fixings, although she prefers dressing over stuffing. "I'm not into, you know, reaching inside a bird and putting something in there or taking something out of there and eating it, you know," she explained.

McBride's appropriately titled single, "Blessed," is climbing the country charts. The singer shot the video for the song on Saturday (November 17) in Nashville.
