MIAMI, FL. (Pure Records/ www.na-sha.com) - Blending R&B, hip hop and outright soul, up-and-coming artist Na'sha (pronounced Nay-sha) is poised to turn heads with her September 20th debut release My Story on Pure Records. The fifteen-track ride, fourteen of which were penned by Na'sha, includes the first single "Fire," an ode to the dance floor and the party atmosphere her music inspires. The remix of "Fire" with tourmate Shaggy is burning up CHR/Rhythmic & Urban stations across the country.

My Story brings out a cast of all-star talent. The album is produced by an array of hitmakers including Grammy Award winners Scott Storch (Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Terror Squad) & James Poyser (Common, Jill Scott, Leela James), Sting International (Shaggy) and R&G. Na'sha is joined by Shaggy on the sexy track "What U Waiting 4" and features Cash Money alum B.G. on "No Good." She shares the mic once again with Shaggy on his forthcoming release Clothes Drop on the cuts "Ultimatum" and "Don't Ask Her That."

Na'sha prides herself on being a songwriter and her skills are evident throughout My Story. The title track represents the album's journey- Na'sha's journey- as she "tells [her] story, talking about the pain and glory." From the club anthem "Get To Go Home" to the chill "Gotta Move," the Aretha Franklin homage "Mama," to the spirited "Saturday," this 22-year-old diva exudes talent beyond her years.

In celebration of the release, Miami-based Pure Records is hosting an invitation-only event during the MTV Video Music Awards weekend. Hosted by Shaggy, the soiree will feature a special performance by Na'sha, and DJ Biz Markie will keep the party hopping throughout the night. This fall, she will go out on the road in support of My Story.
