NASHVILLE, TN. (BNA Records) - Lonestar's 'I'm Already There' has proven that the sky is not the limit. The platinum selling album was aboard the space shuttle Endeavour for it's two-week mission and was returned to the band Thursday night at their sold-out concert in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Three years ago Air Force Colonel and fellow Texas native Paul Lockhart made Lonestar an offer they could not refuse. To borrow a copy of their album 'I'm Already There,' to keep him company on his mission to the International Space Station. Colonel Lockhart, a big fan of Lonestar, chose the album because he found that their music was especially helpful in enabling him to wind down after one of his 14-15 hour days. Colonel Lockhart had wanted to return the album to Lonestar for some time. When coincidence bought him back to Massachusetts at the same time Lonestar was performing there he knew his time had come. 'This was my way to say thank you to them for the high quality music,' says Colonel Lockhart. Lonestar will release their eighth album, 'Coming Home,' September 13th. Working with a new producer, Justin Niebank, the band pushed themselves musically and worked to produce a fresh rockin' country sound that is similar to their energizing live concerts. Their current single 'You're Like Comin' Home' is climbing the charts and currently stands at No 16 on R&R and No 19 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart.
