OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Hip Hop artist Max Supreme who signed with J.Stephens
Music in April will celebrate the release of his debut CD with a party on
September 3 at Omaha's Elks Lodge. Supreme, a pillar of the Omaha Hip Hop scene for more than a decade has branched out in recent years in terms of artistic range and influence, building popularity beyond his home state of Nebraska.
The debut album titled 'Street Gumbo' demonstrates Supremes real raw talent. The label's president Johnny Stephens said 'We're very excited to have Supreme as an artist and believe he offers the whole package, everything from dedication, flow, song concept and show performance, on top of that he has very good knowledge of the business', we like him because he's not trying to be the next Jay Z but the 1st Max Supreme'.
Street Gumbo consists of 13 solid tracks that cover everything from the inspiration he gained from his grandfather to Max Supreme's own observations of day to day happenings. What's refreshing about Street Gumbo is that Supreme writes songs and creates concepts. In a day and age where a majority of MC's just put words together and call it done, Supreme skips that formula and writes from the heart.
Producer DJ Suicide who produced the album had this to say about Max Supreme's talent 'He can sit down to any beat and write to it, he does not make up excuses'. Max Supreme will perform tracks from his debut album on
September 3rd 2005 at Omaha's Elks Lodge (2420 Lake Street).
He will also be supported that evening with performances by other Hip Hop acts that include NASCAR, Uncle Big Bad, TOOT, Jay Money, ODD Ball, The Gator Boys and RELL aka Loose Cannons. The doors will open at 9:00PM and the show will start at 10:00PM. The cost of admission to the release is $6.00 at the door.
