SYDNEY, AU. (SONY BMG Music Entertainment )- Keep your dancin shoes at the ready... Paulini's brand new single 'Rough Day' is heading our way this October and if your daily grind has left you feeling a little worse for wear, this infectious party starter is going to make your forget about your woes once and for all! Paulini might have had a 'Rough Day', but this hot new track proves she's ready to forget her troubles, kick back and party... yep, the best sounding soul diva in the land returns with her new single 'Rough Day' this October, and fans won't be disappointed with this upbeat, carefree pop smash in the making. With more than a hint of Aretha Franklin sass among those funky beats, 'Rough Day' was written by the unstoppable hit-maker Matthew Gerrard, who is responsible for dozens of US and Australian hits, the most recent being 'Breakaway' by Kelly Clarkson & 'She's No You' by Jesse McCartney. Paulini flew to the US to record 'Rough Day' and another track for her forthcoming album at Gerrard's own studio in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. It's been just over a year since Paulini took out the No 1 spots on both the ARIA Top 50 albums and singles charts simultaneously with 'Angel Eyes' and 'One Determined Heart', and now the R&B diva is gearing up for a massive comeback with her eagerly-awaited second album. Having spent the majority of 2005 writing and recording the album, fans can look forward to hearing more fabulous new music from Paulini when the record is released in February 2006. There's also talk of her hooking up with some other great Aussie female singers for a series of combined shows around the time of her album release next year - one to definitely watch out for!
