BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - This fall,
Passion Conferences and sixstepsrecords present the Indescribable Tour with artist-worshipers
Chris Tomlin and
Matt Redman and
Passion founder Louie Giglio. The 26-city concert and speaking trek begins October 7 in Portland, Maine.
The tour is named after Tomlin's No 1 radio single, "Indescribable," from his latest release, ARRIVING, the 2005 GMA
Music Award-winning Praise & Worship Album of the Year.
"I am so excited about the upcoming tour," says Tomlin. "I know it is going to be an inspiring night with my good friends, Louie and Matt, leading people in worship and pointing them toward the indescribable God!" Tomlin is among the most respected and best known modern worship songwriters, having penned church and radio favorites such as "Forever," "Famous One," "Enough," and "Holy Is The Lord." ARRIVING continues to be a bestseller, and "Indescribable" recently spent almost an entire year on the Radio & Records magazine Top 30 Christian airplay chart.
Likewise, Redman's songs are known in churches worldwide and have been recorded by other artists including Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James, Tree63, and Kutless. His latest release, BLESSED BE YOUR NAME: SONGS OF MATT REDMAN VOL. 1, features favorites like "Blessed Be Your Name" (2005 GMA Music Award-winning Worship Song of the Year), "The Heart Of Worship," "Better Is One Day," and "Let Everything That Has Breath." Giglio, head of sixstepsrecords, whose roster includes Tomlin and Redman, started the Passion movement to inspire Bible-based spiritual awakening among college-age students around the world via major worship events and music. The New York Times called the Passion movement "Christian Music's New Wave." Giglio is also a widely respected teacher, speaker, and author. The Indescribable Tour will include stops in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and more.
