LOS ANGELES (Wind-up Records) - Wind-up Records, in conjunction with Twentieth Century Fox announces the complete track listing for the November 15th, 2005 Walk The Line Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The soundtrack is produced by Grammy Award winner T Bone Burnett, who also composed the film's score. Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Joaquin Phoenix stars (and sings) as Johnny Cash and Golden Globe nominee Reese Witherspoon stars (and sings) as June Carter Cash in WALK THE LINE, the true story of an honest sound that became a revolution, a man who became an icon, and a love that saved him from destruction.

For T Bone Burnett, WALK THE LINE represented a tremendous opportunity and a tremendous responsibility. 'Johnny Cash was a mythical figure in the 1950's, by the time he was twenty five. It was his voice, his name, his point of view. Love God Raise Hell. Destructive. Dangerous. Darker than the Man in Black. Joaquin seemed like he was born to play this role, and the very first time we met about it, I saw him evoke John Cash in a profound way. He evoked him without imitating him. Joaquin is an artist. So is Reese.'

The soundtrack boasts trademark Cash gems including 'I Walk The Line,' 'Ring of Fire,' 'Folsom Prison Blues,' and 'Cry Cry Cry' performed by Phoenix and Witherspoon. Additionally, the soundtrack features performances by notable musicians including country/rock artist Shooter Jennings, son of legend Waylon Jennings, who portrays his father in the film; alternative rock and folk artist Johnathan Rice who plays Roy Orbison; and singer/songwriter Tyler Hilton who plays Elvis Presley.

The complete track listing for Walk The Line - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is:
1. Get Rhythm - Joaquin Phoenix

Producer T Bone Burnett won a BAFTA Award for Best Achievement in Film Music (shared with Gabriel Yared) for 'Cold Mountain.' He received an Oscar-nomination (shared with Elvis Costello) for the film's original song, 'Scarlet Tide.' In addition, he won four Grammys for his work on 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?', also receiving a BAFTA Award-nomination for Best Achievement in Film Music (shared with Carter Burwell).

Developed for seven years with the cooperation of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Writer/Director James Mangold focuses WALK THE LINE on the period in the mid-fifties when rock-and-roll exploded from a tiny studio in Memphis, Tennessee. The film follows Cash's meteoric rise to fame, culminating with his emergence as the 'Man in Black' at his historic concert at Folsom Prison in 1968. Mangold co-wrote the screenplay with Gill Dennis.

The WALK THE LINE cast also includes Robert Patrick as Cash's volatile father, Ray; Ginnifer Goodwin as Johnny's first wife, Vivian; Dan John Miller, who plays guitarist Luther Perkins; Larry Bagby as bassist Marshall Grant; Dallas Roberts as legendary Sun Records founder Sam Phillips; Dan Beene and Sandra Lafferty as the legendary Ezra and Maybelle Carter; and Hailey Anne Nelson as the young Rosanne Cash.
