Il Divo Top The Charts With 'Ancora'

Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - Following on from their recent promo tour, gorgeous opera band Il Divo have stormed the ARIA charts for a No 1 debut with their stunning album 'Ancora'. The singers have also taken out the top spot in the UK with the follow-up to their massive debut album 'Il Divo'.

Australia loves Il Divo! The ground breaking pop opera quartet have notched up another ARIA No 1 album with the divine 'Ancora'. While their first self-titled album hit the charts for a No 4 debut, it climbed to No 1, and is still in the ARIA Top 50 a massive 34 weeks after it was released! Carlos, Sebastien, David and Urs also find themselves at the top of the heap in the UK, where 'Ancora' hit the charts for a No 1 debut.
Their sophomore set takes original music and well-known tracks, both old and new, and turns them into masterpieces via the beautiful and distinctive voices of Il Divo.
