Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - Danish duo The Raveonettes are coming our way! The retro rockers will be touring Oz for the first time ever next March, and have shows lined up in Melbourne and Brisbane. The fabulous Sharin Foo and Sune Rose Wagner will be showing off their latest album 'Pretty In Black'. With their first album 'Chain Gang Of Love', The Raveonettes had the world in a spin with their super sexy brand of stripped-down rock. Then they returned to the fold earlier this year with a fresh new sound - something akin to Jesus and Mary Chain meets Velvet Underground - and delivered a killer album in the form of 'Pretty In Black'. Featuring drum work from ex-Velvet Mo Tucker, and cameos from the likes of Ronnie Spector and Suicide keyboardist Martin Rev, the album is a retro, punk, '50s-infused stunner. Live, The Raveonettes are trashy-glam fabulous and shockingly cool. With songs promising dirty cigarettes and dirty sex, broken hearts and broken rules, you wouldn't expect anything less! Tickets go on sale tomorrow, November 16, so get in quick!
