(Universal Music Australia) - Woolworths' Carols in The Domain, now in it's 23rd year, will this year play host to an international guest star in the shape of the swooningly tall, exotically dark and droolingly handsome Patrizio Buanne. Having released his debut album, The Italian which climbed to number 3 on the ARIA album charts earlier this year, Patrizio is enjoying sweeping international success. His timeless versions of classic titles such as A Man Without Love and Il Mondo send women around the globe into a frenzy. 'I was brought up in a very close family and Christmas is a time I associate with many happy and fond memories,' reminisces Patrizio. 'It will be exciting to be a part of this event - Carols is a very significant part of Australia's Christmas. Perhaps I can bring some of the joy of those happy, traditional Italian Christmases that I remember to the show,' added Patrizio. Woolworths' Carols in The Domain will be broadcast live on The Seven Network at 8:30pm on Saturday 17th December. The Australian Radio Network will simulcast the event on Mix 106.5 in Sydney. The Sun Herald will produce the official Woolworths' Carols in The Domain Songbook in their edition on Sunday 11th December. Patrizio Buanne's debut album, The Italian is out now and The Italian- Live In Concert DVD is released Nov 27th 2005.
