NEW YORK (AP) - Marilyn Manson got a late Christmas present in Clarkston, Mich., District Court on Friday (Dec. 28) when a judge reduced a charge of criminal sexual conduct against the shock rocker to disorderly conduct, according to the Detroit Free Press. The reduction now likely paves the way for Manson to face a mere $4000 in fines if he pleads guilty to the lesser charge as well as an assault and battery charge - as opposed to jail time and possible registration as a sex offender had he been found guilty on the original charges. The charges against Manson stem from a July Ozzfest concert at DTE Energy Theater in Clarkston, where a security guard accused the singer of placing him in a headlock and rubbing his genitals against the back of the guard's head and neck in a simulated sex move.
