Mercury's Billy Currington Scores His First No 1 Hit With 'Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right'

NASHVILLE, TN (Universal Music Group Nashville) - Mercury recording artist Billy Currington tops Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart this week with "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right," the first single off his sophomore album Doin' Somethin' Right, which hit stores October 18. This is the first No 1 hit of Currington's career. Upon hearing the news this morning, Currington said, "I couldn't think of a better way to end such an awesome year. I just want to thank the Mercury promotion staff and everyone else on my team for all of their hard work this year."
