'Jesus And Bartenders' Breaks Into Top 10 On Texas Charts

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (ARISTOMEDIA/ CPI Records) - CPI Records recording artist Sonny Burgess' current radio single, 'Jesus and Bartenders' recently moved to the No. 3 spot on the Texas Regional Radio Report and to No. 9 on the popular Best In Texas radio chart. The single is also steadily climbing the national charts, including Music Row.

With the success of his debut single off his second album Stronger, Sonny is gearing up for a busy New Year season. With a little time off to spend with his family over the holidays, Sonny and his band will be back on the stage in Fort Worth, TX on December 31, 2005 as he helps ring in the New Year with KTFW's New Years Eve Celebration.

On January 13, 2006, Sonny will perform at the White Elephant Saloon in Fort Worth to help kick off the Fort Worth Rodeo and Stock show. He will then appear in Ennis, TX the next night to perform at the Red Moon Café. Sonny will also be performing with the Southern Roots band for the KTEX Country Palooza on January 21, 2006 in Brenham, TX.
