MIAMI, Fl. (AP) - Jon Lee, drummer with successful rock outfit Feeder, was found dead at his home in Miami on Monday. Lee, 33 and originally from Newport in South Wales, is said by unconfirmed reports to have hanged himself. The news comes just four days after the death of Zac Foley, bassist for fellow U.K. modern rock act EMF.

Lee's bandmates Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose said in a statement, "we shall miss him more than melody. We're utterly devastated." He is survived by his wife Tatiana Englehart, a model from Brazil whom he married in 2000, and their son, Cameron.

Feeder, signed to Echo in 1995, first charted in the U.K. in 1997 with the minor hits "Tangerine," "Cement," and "Crash." The group achieved its first top-40 success with "High" later that year. The group had just completed one of its most successful years, notching a No. 5 hit, "Buck Rogers," in January 2001, and releasing its third album,"Echo Park."

Having recently completed a European tour supporting Stereophonics, Feeder is currently in the top-20 for a fourth week on the U.K. album chart with the "Just a Day" EP.
