NEW YORK, NY (Trilateral Enterprises, LLC) - "The crazy ride continues," says Trilateral Manager Frank Urban, referring to what has been a busy 12 months for hot Bronx rap group Trilateral. From receiving the award for "Most Promising Rap Group" at the 3rd Annual Underground Music Awards held in New York in 2005 to appearing in Funkmaster Flex's Unsigned Talent DVD last month, Trilateral is making the moves that are creating a buzz on the streets. "SMACK DVD reaches out to hoods worldwide in search of new raw and uncensored talent. Only the most original and lyrically creative were selected for this project from over 130 auditions. That's insane," adds Urban. J Hatch, CEO of Inasirkl Music Group, was responsible for coordinating this event. "Trilateral was selected for the SMACK DVD 2006 Annihilation based on their ability to put together catchy songs, match each other's energy and timing on stage, and bring real lyrics back to the game of emceeing," says Hatch, who is also Field A&R for Missing Link Music, VP of Operations for Other World records, and Co-CEO of The Industry Standard. Clearly this is another big step in the evolution of Trilateral Enterprise, LLC. This self-sufficient independent label which creates its unique sound from their state-of-the-art studios in the home of Hip Hop is sure to continue making noise out of the Bronx. "We're proud of this accomplishment," says Trilateral CEO Stephen (Cambo) Ramirez. "We're not at the mercy of the major labels. We're producing hot beats, writing hot songs, and then we're mixing and engineering our product independently. Our business acumen sometimes gets overshadowed by our creativity, but that's OK. We must be doing something right. SMACK DVD and Inasirkl took notice. Now we're putting the rest of the industry on notice," adds Ramirez.
