Grammy nominees Rascal Flatts kick-off their 'Me & My Gang Tour' Feb. 2 in Grand Rapids, Michigan with Jason Aldean opening the show. The 'Me & My Gang Tour' 2006 will launch with opening acts Blake Shelton, on all dates, as well as Keith Anderson (**) and Jason Aldean (*), who will alternate dates through March. Fans will enjoy three hours of entertainment including a 90-minute set with Rascal Flatts and a 20-minute set with Jason Aldean. [See updated Tour Itinerary below for details.]

Jason Aldean has taken the country scene by storm, garnering a Top 10 hit and No 1 music video on CMT with 'Hicktown', the first single released from his self-titled debut album which has officially been certified gold by the RIAA only 12 weeks after its release.
His new single, "Why," continues to climb the country singles charts reaching No 32 with a bullet on R&R and No 34 with a bullet on Billboard as of this week. The music video for 'Why' (directed by Wes Edwards for Ruckus Film) enters CMT's 'Top 20 Countdown' this week at No 20. The music video is also currently airing on GAC.
Jason Aldean has been announced as one of five performers at this year's New Faces of Country Music Show at the 37th Country Radio Seminar (CRS-37) on Friday, February 17, 2006 from 7pm-10pm in the CMA Performance Hall at the Nashville Convention Center. Other participating artists include: Keith Anderson, Jeff Bates, Little Big Town and Hot Apple Pie.
