LOS ANGELES (MoPrayze Music Group) - Congratulations to CeCe Winans for her 2006 Image Award Nomination for Outstanding Gospel Artist. The year 2005 ended with Winans completing a grueling schedule which included two stops at the White House (Christmas In Washington / The Christmas Tree Lighting), guest performances on Good Morning America, The CBS Saturday Early Show, and the Williams Sisters (Venus & Serena) Charity Match, to name a few. In addition to her Image Award nomination, CeCe received three nods for the 2006 Grammy Awards (Best Gospel Performance, Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album and Best Musical Album For Children) set to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 8th, airing live on CBS . Winans also kicked off her Always Sisters Conference for young girls and teens which will be hosted this year at The Curb Center on Belmont University in Nashville at the beginning of August. Another treat for Winans fans will come later this year as she gears up for a national tour.
