BURBANK, CA (Warner Bros. Records) - After a whirlwind sweep of sold-out shows on the coasts of America this past December, England's newest hitmakers, The Subways, have certainly left their mark. Critics and fans have rallied around the band to pledge their support: "Dangerously addictive," quoted the LA Weekly, while the Los Angeles Times considered singer-guitarist Billy Lunn, "Like a pubescent (and maybe not yet jaded) Noel Gallagher."

This March, The Subways will return to headline their first full tour of the U.S. in support of their album debut, "YOUNG FOR ETERNITY," to be released February 14, 2006, on Sire Records. The album is already attracting critical praise: "'Young For Eternity' has the makings of the best rock debut to come out of Britain since Oasis's 'Definitely Maybe.'" - Boston Phoenix

CMJ offered: "Each cymbal crash is a life-changing event, each chorus is a new friend and each chord is a new world. The Subways' effervescent and authentic pop rock explodes with adolescent confusion and head-bobbing hooks."

Following the band's in-concert introduction to American audiences performing "Rock & Roll Queen" on international TV phenomenon "THE OC" this past November, the track - and album's first single - is currently garnering significant stateside airplay.
The Subways will make their late night American television debut performing the song live on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" on March 3, 2006. U.S. tour dates are as follows:
