BET'S 2006 Celebration Of Gospel Raises The Roof With Gospel Greats, R&B Stars At The Historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre

LOS ANGELES, CA (BET) - WHAT: BET has gathered musical artists from both the inspirational and secular worlds for its uplifting, spirit-filled 6th Annual CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL special. The two-hour telecast features musical performances, guest appearances and special salutes to some of the greatest names in gospel history. CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL is set for taping on Saturday, January 28 @ 6 p.m. PT at LA's historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre. Hosted again by veteran actor/comedian Steve Harvey, this event is open to the public.

WHO: Led by returning host Steve Harvey, the list of performers includes: Stevie Wonder, Mary Mary, Anthony Hamilton, CeCe Winans, Tyrese, Kirk Franklin, Kelly Price, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Dr. Bobby Jones, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Tonex, Hezekiah Walker, Juanita Bynam, Martha Munizzi, Micah Stampley, Bishop Paul Morton, and many more.
