NASHVILLE, TN. (Demon Hunter Official Website) - Demon Hunter topped the CMJ "Loud Rock" charts last week on the strength of their breath-taking third album, "The Triptych," which hit No 1 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" chart during its first week of release in stores.

News of the quickly-earned radio success comes as the AOL Music Team named the heavy metal band one of ten artists to watch in 2006, alongside acts as diverse as Louis XIV and Doves.

Produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Emery) and mixed by Machine (Lamb Of God), "The Triptych" boasts three different album covers by renowned painter Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel, Suffocation).

Known for their loyal and diehard fans who have dubbed themselves "Hunters," Demon Hunter and their instantly iconic logo have inspired tattoos, motorcycles, Jack O' Lanterns, and birthday cakes. "The Soldier's Song," a track on the new album dedicated to the men and women in uniform, is a thank you to troops like the squadron who wears the band's symbol as a patch on their sleeves.

The first single and video from "The Triptych" is "Undying," directed by Christopher Sims (Bleeding Through, As I Lay Dying). The cinematic clip goes for adds at MTV2 and Fuse soon and is already a smash with the "Hunters" all over the Internet. Demon Hunter will tour in the summer of 2006 for the first time in two years. More on that to be announced soon!

Demon Hunter crept into the music world's consciousness with their mysterious self-titled debut, followed by the breakthrough smash "Summer Of Darkness," which boasted the forthright lead single "Not Ready To Die" and the brilliantly melancholy "My Heartstrings Come Undone."

In other news, the Demon Hunter-related Seattle design firm Asterik Studio was nominated for a Grammy for their work on "O' God The Aftermath," the latest Solid State album from Norma Jean.
