 CHICAGO, IL. (By Nat Dykeman/ Lake County Film Festival) - Lake County Film Festival: Who: The 3rd Annual Lake County Film Festival What: Is bringing 5 days of film to Chicago's Northern 'Burbs. This includes 59 short films, and 19 feature films. Highlights: A special advance screening from Universal Studios called American Dreamz (starring Dennis Quaid, Hugh Grant and Mandy Moore). Chan-Wook Park's Cannes Award Winning film Oldboy, part of the South Korean filmmakers Vengeance Trilogy. Four Eyed Monsters, one of Indiewire.com's top 10 undistributed films of 2005. Our first children's screening and our first music video program. Several Award Winning Documentaries. Over 35 directors attending. When: Opening Ceremony takes place on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00pm and the festival runs until the Closing Ceremony on Monday, March 6th at 7:00pm Where: Most films are shown at the Libertyville Civic Center and the Liberty Theatre in Libertyville. Additional screenings will be held at the Highland Park Theatre, the Regal Lincolnshire Theatre, and the College Of Lake County Auditorium.
