Shaggy returns to the top of European singles chart

LONDON (Billboard) - The former chart-toppers on Music and Media's pan-European singles and albums surveys have reclaimed their No. 1 positions. Shaggy's "Angel," which had four weeks atop Eurochart Hot 100 Singles before the multi-artist "Lady Marmalade" enjoyed a two-week run there, has returned to the peak. At the same time, Shaggy's album "Hot Shot" cedes the No. 1 slot on European Top 100 Albums back to Manu Chao's "Proxima Estacion: Esperanza," which previously led the chart for three weeks.
