NEW DELHI, India (Top40 Charts/ BiBi magazine/ Raj Desai) - International pop singer Reggie Benjamin has been named one of BiBi Magazine's 'Sexiest Men of 2006.' BIBI Magazine is equivalent to America's People magazine, where he will be featured in a full-length interview and photo spread in the February 'Sexy Men' issue of the publication, and is invited to the annual 'Sexy Men' party in New York in March.

Benjamin, who recently signed with Kerry Gordy, of Kerry Gordy Enterprises, Inc., (KGEI) is currently working on a new self-titled CD at studios in Los Angeles, which is scheduled for release in Spring of 2006. Gordy, an award winning producer and executive, has been involved in the music industry for more than 20 years, beginning with Motown records. He founded KGEI in 1990.

In addition to BiBi Magazine, Benjamin was nominated in 3 categories for the fifth annual Black Music Awards: Best New Artist and Best Neo-Soul, America's Next Star, and eventually won the biggest award of the night America's Next Star. He is the first singer of Indian descent to have this honor. He also appeared on the 'Red Carpet' at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards on February 8.

Benjamin, whose music fuses the sounds of R&B/pop with the beats of India and classical Indian vocals, has had successful tours overseas and has been at the top of the club charts in more than 15 countries. His current release, 'Ride,' hit number four on the Billboard Break Out Dance Chart and is ranked on numerous international charts, including number six on the RA Radio chart in Germany and the top 50 in Brazil. His previous release, 'Hurry Up' remains on the charts in many countries overseas; the Ukraine currently has it ranked as number 16.
