New York, NY (Roadrunner Records) - In anticipation of the April 11th release of MTV2 Headbangers Ball: The Revenge, containing 2 CDs, 38 tracks, and 2 1/2 hours of the newest, biggest and baddest in heavy metal, we decided to ask members of the bands involved a few questions about their own personal experiences with this most hallowed of metallic institutions.
The results of our FIRST Q&A were posted last week now it's time for question number two: "Have you ever been a guest on Headbangers Ball? If so, when? How was it?"

Their answers follow below - check back in the coming days for follow-up Q&A's, and visit the official ECARD to sample some tracks, pre-order the CD, and enter to win a trip to attend a taping of Headbangers Ball in New York City.

Now for those answers...

"Yes, I was on when I first joined Ozzy and again last year to promote Mafia with Jamey."
-Zakk Wylde of BLACK LABEL SOCIETY

"We have been on Headbangers Ball a couple of times, and it's always been fun. Jamey is a great host. He and the rest of the Hatebreed crew have always been good to Killswitch. For that, much respect!"
-Joel Stroetzel of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE

"As a band we were on once, and I was on it again for the masters of horror soundtrack. First time was cool, second time was just bizarre I had a giant blonde wig on and sat next to Buckethead."
â?" Nick Brooks of IT DIES TODAY

"Not yet, cos we haven't been around for that long but it would be cool to do someday."
-Sam Totman of DRAGONFORCE

"Yes, twice. When we released Unholy Confessions and just before City of Evil was released. We had a great time and Jamey has always been very cool to us."
-M. Shadows of AVENGED SEVENFOLD

"We have not been a guest on Headbangers Ball, as a band, but Candace has guest hosted for Jamey. It came out really good and I'm sure it was a whole lot of fun for her. We definitely got a lot of positive feedback from it."
- Mike Hasty of WALLS OF JERICHO

"No, I have not been a guest on the â?~Ball yet, but I am waiting for my invite...haha."
- Brock Lindow of 36 CRAZYFISTS

"We actually visited Jamey on Headbangers during our last tour in February. It was a fun experience, only too short."
- Björn Gelotte of IN FLAMES

"We have been lucky enough to have to guest slots on the Ball. The studio is a lot smaller then it looks on TV, and it goes by super fast but it is still fun and exciting to be a part of it."
-Mark Hunter of CHIMAIRA

"Not yet!"
-TJ Miller of STILL REMAINS

"Yeah, a couple of times...we did this cool broadcast at the House of Blues in Hollywood a year or two ago. It was in conjunction with a video game premiere. That was fun."
-Jonathan Davis of KORN

"We've been guests once or twice this past year. We had a good time. It was only 30 seconds here or 30 seconds there, but they treated us good and gave us coffee."
-Peter Lindgren of OPETH

"We've been on several times, and it's always been good except they insist on filming LOG at 9am or earlier. Our reputation precedes us I suppose as I believe this is because they scared that we will all get drunk and trash the place if it's any later in the day. Apparently 9am isn't early enough for a few of us as the last time we were there Willie and Randy just stayed up drinking all night and even had brown bag beers in the studio while we were filming. It's wild to be on a show that you are a fan of, we are flattered each time we've been on - even if we're drunk at 9am."
-Chris Adler of LAMB OF GOD

"We have been on twice. The most recent time was in the fall of 2005 talking about our new album, Vendetta. It was really cool to meet Frank Bello from Anthrax who was filling in for Jamey the second time we were there. He's a sweet dude. During our first interview, we worked Hatebreed lyrics into all of our answers in very serious tones and you could hear people laughing in the other room, through the wall, on television."
-Dave Peters of THROWDOWN

"Yes once so far, it was a lot of fun going there and just hanging out in the MTV studios. The interview goes so fast, each set of questions lasts only like 2 minutes because it has to fit in with all the videos."
-Paolo Gregoletto of TRIVIUM

"Yes, I have many times. In fact, I am doing it again on April 15, 2006."
-Dez Fafara of DEVILDRIVER

"We were guests on the ball sometime last year, I can't remember exactly when. It was definitely a lot of fun, we brought Jamey a little gift, I think it was a sub club card and whatever else was in our pockets at the time. I was pretty nervous at first just being on the show after growing up watching it was such a weird experience."
- Scottie Henry of NORMA JEAN

"We've been fortunate to be guests on the show twice. The first time was right around the time when the Gone Forever album came out in March '04. It was the first time we were ever on TV for anything, and being that it was just a huge deal for us, I'm sure we were a bit nervous. It's cool that Jamey was there because we know him, and that makes you more comfortable."
- Doc Coyle of GOD FORBID

"Yes, Arch Enemy have visited 'The Ball' twice in NYC, it's always been coolâ? The interviews are very brief and really don't get too in depth, but we are just happy to get that kind of exposure for our music! Jamey's absolutely the right man for the job. He has credibilityâ?and is a serious fan of heavy music."
- Mike Arnott of ARCH ENEMY

"We've been guests on Headbangers Ball once and we even performed a couple of acoustic songs (I think it was during our tour supporting POD...) and it was definitely awesome: I mean, we were on f***in' Headbangers Ball!"
- Cristiano Migliore of LACUNA COIL

"I've personally never been a guest but hopefully one day..."
- Des Kensel of HIGH ON FIRE

"Yes Mike, Jimmy and I had the pleasure of being a part of the show in mid-November. It was a great honor and I personally had a great time."
- Brennan Chaulk of HASTE THE DAY

"Yes we were guests on the show and it was cool because I got to bring the new lineup and introduce everybody and it was a killer time. After the show Jamey took us out for lunch at this awesome Brazilian Barbeque restaurant and we got tanked and ate meat til we were stuffed!"
- Kirk Windstein of KINGDOM OF SORROW

"Yes we did Headbangers Ball back in November. We had a blast hanging out Jamey and talking music shop."
- Jesse Hasek of 10 YEARS
