LOS ANGELES (DUNKADELIC INC.) - The "Basketball and Hip-Hop" culture fusion of the past 22 years has been defined as The "Dunkadelic Era" In America, 1984-Present. In 1984 when Michael Jordan and his "Air Jordans" hit the NBA, and the Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin forming of Def Jam records the new culture era of "Basketball and Hip-Hop" was created in America. The Top 10 All-Time Basketball Superstar and Rap Icon Duo's shows how the player and the rap artists connect as a 1-2 punch in the world of hip-hop.

1. LeBron James and Jay-Z, the "Dunkadelic Mega-Star of Basketball" and the "Hip-Hop Icon King." King James is the basketball phenom that is ruling the NBA. Jay-Z is the mogul who's leading hip-hop. LeBron and Jay-Z are the 2 biggest icons of the culture. LeBron raises the Rock-A-Fella "Dynasty" sign while he's being introduced at the start of games. LeBron and Jay-Z have a link as the Ambassadors for "Basketball and Hip-Hop."

2. Allen Iverson and Tupac Shakur, the No 1 renegade basketball player of All-Time, and the No 1 renegade rapper of All-Time. Iverson is known as "The Answer" and Tupac was known as "The Messenger." Iverson and Tupac both defined more than any other player or rapper the "Basketball and Hip-Hop" culture fusion of the past 20 years. Carmelo Anthony and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Carmelo is the basketball superstar that has been considered the next Allen Iverson in with his tattos', shooting sleeve, cornrows, and street credibility. 50 Cent like Melo was "Getting Rich or was Going to Die Trying". Carmelo and 50 Cent are linked because both represent the hard street side of hip-hop.

7. Kevin Garnett and Snoop Dogg, KG and Snoop Dogg are both part of the old school, but still is a major player with the new school. KG and Snoop have that laid back attitude with style and charisma. When KG was calling sports announcers "My Dawg" Snoop was dropping the "Shizzle Fizzle My Nizzle." KG and Snoop are linked because both bring a Cool and Chill mentality to "Basketball and Hip-Hop."

8. Rasheed Wallace and Chuck D./Eminem, Rasheed like his fellow N. Carolina Tar Heel Michael Jordan has 2 MCee's that compare to him. Rasheed known as "Roscoe" to his team-mates is the basketball star who creates controversy with his comments and actions as Chuck D. and Eminem do with their lyrics. Raheed who plays for the Detroit Pistons is the hometown of Eminem. Rasheed will "Fight for the Power" against the establishment just like Chuck D. and Public Enemy.

9. Stephon Marbury and Nas, Stephon the playground superstar from Coney Island, and Nas the hip-hop icon Long Island City. Starbury and Nas are both linked by their Brooklyn, New York roots. Starbury and Nas are "Basketball and Hip-Hop" icons that left off of the "Best of Their Generation" list. In the end Starbury and Nas are 2 kids form Brooklyn that made it out one had a sick crooss-over, and the other had sick lyrics.

10. Kobe Bryant and Nelly, Kobe the cocky charismatic superstar is the golden boy of basketball, and Nelly the cocky charismatic icon of hip-hop. Kobe and Nelly both bring a glitz and glamour to the culture. Kobe was labeled the next Michael Jordan, and Nelly the next sex symbol of hip-hop after LL Cool J and Tupac. Kobe and Nelly are linked because both bring that Hollywood status to the culture.

The 2nd Annual 2006 All-Dunkadelic and 1st Annual 2006 College All-Dunkadelic Team and MVP's will be announced Thursday June 29th after the NBA Draft.

Amare Stoudemire of Phoenix was the 1st Annual 2005 All-Dunkadelic Team MVP. LeBron, D-Wade, Vince, and Kenyon Martin were selected to the All-Dunkadelic First Team.
