As more and more music is lined up to hit the road over the next few months, this summer is shaping up to be a live music paradise. Here's a rundown of the latest tour news:
Korn has lined up 15 initial dates in support of its forthcoming album Untouchables, due June 11 on Epic/Immortal Records. The trek begins in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on June 20 and continues through July 13 in Dayton, Ohio, according to the band's official Web site (www.korn.com). More dates are expected to be announced soon.
Fans should pay special attention to the custom mike stand (shaped like a serpentine femme fatale) used by singer Jonathan Davis on the tour -- it was designed by gruesome visual artist H.R. Giger, best known for his work in Alien, Alien III, and Species.

Things aren't going so well for
Billy Joel and
Elton John's current Face to Face tour, however. The duo has been forced to cancel all eight remaining dates on the tour (from March 18 in New York through April 11 in East Rutherford, N.J.).
"Billy Joel is currently under doctor's supervision and has been diagnosed with acute laryngitis, inflamed vocal chords, and an acute upper respiratory infection," said a post on Joel's official Web site (www.billyjoel.com). "In view of these findings, Billy Joel has been advised by his doctors to refrain from singing and will require several weeks of voice rest."
The duo had already postponed one date last week, March 13) in Tampa, Fla. The postponed dates are expected to be rescheduled in September or October.

The Coen Brothers and GRAMMY? Awards Producer of the Year T Bone Burnett will take the music of
O Brother, Where Art Thou? and
O Brother, Where Art Thou?: Down from the Mountain on the road for a second time. The Down from the Mountain summer trek includes 29 dates from June 25 in Louisville, Ky., to Aug. 4 in Denver.
Artists on this second leg include Alison Krauss & Union Station, Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Ralph Stanley, the Del McCoury Band, Norman & Nancy Blake, Ricky Skaggs, Dan Tyminski, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, the Whites, and Jerry Douglas (not all artists will play each show).

Garbage's upcoming 30-date North American tour, which kicks off in Toronto on April 19 and continues through a June 1 date in Los Angeles. The band, headed by ex-
