Snoop Dogg may soon be better as actor...

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) - Rapper Snoop Dogg may soon be better known as actor Snoop Dogg. In addition to recent roles in Bones, Training Day, The Wash (allstar, Nov. 14, 2001), and the previously reported forthcoming big-screen adaptation of '70s police-action series Starsky & Hutch, Snoop has three more movies on his to-do list. The rapper is currently filming Old School, in which he performs a cover of Eric B. and Rakim's "Paid in Full" with Warren G as his DJ, and is continuing his work on two additional roles in Lady T and Mojo Slim and 4800 Block, according to a spokesperson for the rapper at Priority Records. Somehow in between all the film work, Snoop has managed to continue recording his next album, Bigg Snoop Dogg Has Paid the Cost to be da Boss, due in September on Priority/Capitol Records.
