NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Boxcar Racer, the side project of Blink-182 guitarist-vocalist Tom Delonge and drummer Travis Barker, and Over My Dead Body guitarist Dave Kennedy, has lined up a few Southern California shows to showcase songs from its forthcoming MCA Records debut. The band will play the Epicenter in San Diego on April 1, the Glass House in Pomona, Calif., on April 2, and the Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, Calif., on April 3. Tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday (March 22) through Ticketmaster outlets at $15 a pop. Boxcar Racer's self-titled debut is due May 14. Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, Rancid's Tim Armstrong, and New Found Glory's Jordan Pundik all contribute vocals to the album. Meanwhile, Blink-182 is gearing up for its Pop Disaster tour outing with Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, and Saves the Day, beginning April 17 in Bakersfield, Calif.
