NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced two more winners for this year's event. Garth Brooks will be honored with the Hitmaker Award and Stevie Wonder will take home the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award.

The event, to be held June 13 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, is also honoring the previously announced Barry Manilow, Michael Jackson, Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson, Randy Newman, and Sting, as well as George M. Cohan's "You're a Grand Old Flag" (Towering Song Award) and Ed Murphy (Abe Olman Publishers Award).
