Nashville, TN. (Rust Records) - Rising country group The PovertyNeck Hillbillies are set to shake up New York City in support of their debut self-titled album on Rust Records. Kicking off their Big Apple visit, The PovertyNeck Hillbillies will perform their hit single 'Mr. Right Now' live on Fox & Friends Friday, August 25th at 8:45am EST on FOX (check local listings). Later, the band will stop by Sirius Satellite Radio's new music show 'Beyond The Buzz' with host Kim Ashley.

The headlining performance on Fox & Friends will be a part of the show's end-of-summer concert series. The PovertyNeck Hillbillies will take the stage in front of FOX studios to perform their first of many national television appearances.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our first national television appearance than on the streets of New York City,' said the PovertyNeck Hillbillies. We're really looking forward to introducing New Yorkers to our signature Hillbilly Shake and unique country-rock sound.'

After the performance, The PovertyNeck Hillbillies are set to stop by Sirius Satellite Radio for an interview on new music show 'Beyond The Buzz' on the Sirius 60 - New Country channel. The show will air Saturday, September 2nd at 9pm EST.

While in New York the band will also be stopping by radio stations Westwood One and WOR's 'The Joey Reynolds Show' for interviews. The PovertyNeck Hillbillies are currently on the road in support of their self-titled album, which is in stores now.
