Boris Debut at Pacha New York Thanksgiving Eve - November 22, 2006

New York, NY. (Pacha announcement/ www.pachanyc.com) - After packing houses at his long-running monthly Saturday night residency at crobar with marathon 12-hour plus sets, 2006 Club World Awards 'Best Resident DJ' nominee Boris brings his hard hitting New York sound to Pacha for the first time on Wednesday, November 22nd on one of the traditionally biggest party nights of the year in NYC, second to only New Year's Eve.

Russian-born New York-bred Boris continues the tradition of marathon DJ sets of his club forbearers Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia, keeping clubbers on the floor well into the morning. While he's had mainstream success with his remixes for pop superstars like Janet Jackson and Jewel (his remix of Pink's "Get the Party Started" hit No 1 on Billboard's dance charts), Boris makes sure his sound stays underground by focusing on the drums, the percussion and what he calls the "darkness of a track that won't make it commercial."

With two mix CDs under his belt - 2005's Unleashed and this year's Believe (both on Moist Music) - Boris has fortified his reputation as a club legend-in-the-making with albums that come as close as possible to recreating the grand event of a Boris club set.
