Pet Shop Boys - the duo of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe - one of the original purveyors of 80s synth pop and new wave return on a 23-date North American tour in supoprt of their recent album Fundamental.
Fundamental, the band's ninth studio album, and first since 2002's "Release," hit stores in June 2006. The album contains 11 new originals penned by the duo, as well as a Dianne Warren composition entitled "Numb." The album reunites Pet Shop Boys with legendary producer Trevor Horn (Paul McCartney, Tina Turner), who first worked with them on the seminal 'Left To My Own Devices' in 1988.
Celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their first album and coinciding with a new album and a major world tour, the distinguished art book publishers Thames and Hudson will publish Pet Shop Boys Catalogue, a complete visual and design history of the duo.
